From a Fantasy Bundesliga perspective, four Matchday 6 matchups stand out as particularly interesting. Dortmund-Leipzig and Frankfurt-Bayern were selected in advance, and following our latest poll on X (@bulinewsdotcom), Stuttgart vs. Heidenheim and Gladbach vs. Freiburg were added as they received the same number of votes.
For each matchup, weâll highlight three players who could have a real impact on your fantasy team. These players may come from the same side or be split between both teams.
To give you balanced options, each set of picks will include one premium player, one mid-priced option, and one budget choice. These categories depend on the teams involved in the matchup.
For example, if Bayern plays Dortmund, a premium player might be someone like Kane or Guirassy, both valued at over 20M. But in a smaller fixture, like Hamburg vs. Heidenheim, where the most expensive player costs 10M, that same player would count as a premium option, even though heâd only be mid-priced in a bigger game.
Premium: Nico Schlotterbeck, DEF (13.82M, 3%)Schlotterbeck came back from injury earlier than expected and played 90 minutes in both of his Bundesliga games. He averaged 210 points and has definitely not reached his ceiling yet. He is a player who can rack up over 300 points in Fantasy and will be back in Dortmundâs starting eleven against Leipzig.Mid-Price: Karim Adeyemi, FOR (9.8M, 8%)One of the most in-form players in the Bundesliga right now is Karim Adeyemi. He scored in the last two Bundesliga games, and with Leipzig being heavily under attack against Wolfsburg, Adeyemi should get chances to score or pick up an assist.Budget: Johan Bakayoko, FOR (6.95M, 10%)Bakayoko has established himself in Leipzigâs renewed attacking line and improved his form each matchday. Against Wolfsburg he scored the winner and picked up 308 points in Fantasy. At only 6.95M, he is worth picking up, and although it could be a difficult match against a defensively strengthened Dortmund side, Leipzig must rely on players like Bakayoko to apply pressure and create chances.
Premium: Harry Kane, FOR (27.42M, 52%)After the Champions League midweek, much rotation isnât expected, but if there is one player who will definitely play, itâs Harry Kane. Being in more than half of the teams in the Bundesliga Fantasy Manager and averaging an incredible 410 points per match, he is a must-have this season. Now against Frankfurt, who struggle defensively, Kane should perform once again.Mid-Price: Can Uzun, FOR (11.93M, 27%)Having scored in every match so far this season, Uzun could extend his streak even against Bayern. Frankfurt have produced fireworks this season, and with the two strongest offences facing each other, it could become a high-scoring game. If you donât believe in Frankfurt this matchweek, Serge Gnabry at 12.67M is also an excellent choice, having dipped slightly due to rotation but eager to continue his strong start.Budget: KauĂŁ Santos, GK (7M, 2%)Santos reclaimed his spot as Frankfurtâs number one after coming back from injury. His return was brutal, conceding 8 goals in the Bundesliga and 5 in the Champions League, but with goalkeepers historically scoring well in Fantasy against Bayern, he could still be worth picking up.
Premium: Bilal El Khannouss, MID (12.65, 3%)El Khannouss has made an instant impact in Stuttgartâs attack and averages 199 points in Fantasy so far. Against one of the weakest teams this Bundesliga season, Stuttgart should dominate this match, giving them lots of scoring chances.Mid-Price: Ermedin DemiroviÄ, FOR (9.75M, 9%)Demirovic has been in fantastic form since the Woltemade transfer and averages 225 points in his last three games. After Stuttgartâs loss in the Europa League, they will be determined to bounce back against Heidenheim, with Demirovic being one of their most important players at the moment. Budget: Arijon IbrahimoviÄ, MID (4.28M, 3%)With Conteh and Kaufmann doubtful for Sunday, Ibrahimovic will take on even more responsibility in Heidenheimâs attack. After securing their first three points against Augsburg, Heidenheim will be looking for another win this week. Ibrahimovic has been a solid Fantasy option so far, scoring over 150 points in the last two matches.
Premium: Noah Atubolu, GK (8.65M, 11%)Atubolu averages 198 points in Fantasy, with his best performances coming in the last two games. After not being called up for the German national team and his mistake in the Europa League, he will have something to prove. Against Gladbach, who have struggled to score so far this season, it might be the perfect opportunity.Mid-Price: Joe Scally, DEF (7.27, 4%)Gladbach defender Joe Scally assisted two goals in the game against Frankfurt and racked up 297 points, despite the teamâs defensive collapse. His strength in duels will be tested against Freiburg, and with Gladbach unlikely to concede 6 goals again, he could impress this matchweek.Budget: Haris TabakoviÄ, FOR (3.97M, 0%)Tabakovic has been subbed on in the last two Bundesliga games and scored in both of them. In their heavy loss against Frankfurt, Tabakovic, who came on in the first half, played a huge role in Gladbachâs four-goal comeback. With that said, he should have earned himself a spot in the starting lineup, and alongside Jens Castrop (3.5M), who weâve highlighted before, he is the best budget pick in this matchup.
