In this Fantasy Bundesliga article, we’ll highlight 10 players to consider adding to your team ahead of Matchday 25.
As a rule of thumb, we'll try to steer clear of the most obvious picks, instead focusing mainly on players who could offer great value as differentials.
Ozan Kabak, Hoffenheim (Defender, 9.15M, 12%)
With three consecutive 300+ point returns, Ozan Kabak is one of the hottest Fantasy assets in the game – and yet his ownership sits at just 12%. It’s not too late to jump on the Kabak bandwagon, especially with Hoffenheim facing relegation-threatened Heidenheim and Wolfsburg in their next two fixtures.
Luka Vuskovic, Hamburger SV (Defender, 14.43M, 17%)
After a solid 162-point return in a tough match against RB Leipzig, Vuskovic impressed again in Wednesday’s postponed clash with Bayer Leverkusen, in which he was unlucky not to score towards the end. With HSV’s upcoming fixtures looking more manageable, now could be a good time to bring the young defender into your squad.
Nico Schlotterbeck, Borussia Dortmund (Defender, 19.41M, 13%)
With Dortmund’s difficult fixture against Bayern behind them, the Black and Yellows have a much more favourable schedule in the coming weeks. Given Schlotterbeck’s strong form earlier this season, he could be a great inclusion, while fellow BVB defender Julian Ryerson (12.88M, 12%) offers a cheaper alternative.
Maximilian Mittelstädt, Stuttgart (Defender, 19.53M, 15%)
After a well-deserved rest last week, Mittelstädt is in line to return to Stuttgart’s starting XI against Mainz, who have failed to win their last three. His team’s penalty taker, Mittelstädt is one of the highest-ceiling defenders and always worth considering when starting.
Fabio Vieira, Hamburger SV (Midfielder, 10.23M, 5%)
Having scored two goals in his last three matches, HSV’s midfield talisman is an attractive pick for the upcoming fixtures. With the North German club determined to avoid slipping back into the relegation battle against Wolfsburg and 1. FC Köln, Vieira could play a key role once more.
Brajan Gruda, RB Leipzig (Midfielder, 13.83M, 11%)
Gruda showed his potential on Matchday 22, scoring 419 points against Wolfsburg, but has since had quieter returns. Leipzig’s next home game against a deep-lying Augsburg defence, however, should give the Brighton loanee a good chance of returning to form.
Jamal Musiala, FC Bayern (Midfielder, 20.04M, 9%)
With Harry Kane sidelined and Bayern preparing for the first leg of their Champions League tie with Atalanta next week, head coach Vincent Kompany has some tough lineup decisions to make. The starting XI will be confirmed before Friday’s deadline — and if Musiala starts, he could definitely be worth using your third Bayern spot on
Nicolas Jackson, FC Bayern (Striker, 9.71M, 0%)
Jackson has seen limited minutes recently, but he could earn a rare start against Borussia Mönchengladbach with Kane sidelined. If he makes the XI, his potential upside is significant.
Serhou Guirassy, Borussia Dortmund (Striker, 16.46M, 11%)
After coming off the bench against Bayern, Guirassy is expected to return to Dortmund’s starting lineup for a favourable run of fixtures against FC Köln, Augsburg, and Hamburger SV. This could be the perfect time to bring in the Guinean striker, who was in excellent form not long ago.
Andrej Kramaric, Hoffenheim (Striker, 16.91M, 30%)
Following a strong run of form, Kramaric managed only 84 points in Hoffenheim’s surprising 0-1 loss to St. Pauli. However, with upcoming fixtures against Heidenheim and Wolfsburg, the Croatian veteran remains a strong Fantasy option.
