Here are our picks for Matchday 7:

Bernardo, Hoffenheim (Defender, 9.85M, 21%)

Bernardo has been a reliable defensive pick this season, averaging 188 points and surpassing the 200-point mark in four of his six appearances so far. He is also likely to benefit from a favourable run of fixtures, with Hoffenheim set to face St. Pauli and Heidenheim in their next two matches.

Jeff Chabot, Stuttgart (Defender, 10.5M, 20%)

Another consistently strong Fantasy defender, Chabot has averaged an impressive 235 points per game and is coming off a 365-point haul against Wolfsburg.

David Raum, RB Leipzig (Defender, 15.17M, 7%)

Raum is in red-hot form and currently the third-highest scoring defender with 1,400 total points, trailing only Kaishu Sano (1,443) and Alex Grimaldo (1,779). He carried his momentum into the international break, scoring a stunning free-kick against Luxembourg and setting up Germany’s winner against Northern Ireland. Now, with a home clash against relegation-threatened HSV, he looks set to add plenty more points to his tally.

Florian Neuhaus, Gladbach (Midfielder, 3.83M, 0%)

Neuhaus has returned to importance under interim coach Eugen Polanski and was one of Gladbach’s better performers in their 0-0 draw with Freiburg just before the international break. Priced at only 3.83m, the creative midfielder could be a smart, budget-friendly differential for Die Fohlen’s trip to face Union Berlin on Friday.

Said El Mala, 1. FC Köln (Midfielder, 5.44M, 3%)

The highly talented youngster stepped up with a brilliant solo goal against Hoffenheim just before the international break. With Köln hosting Augsburg, now could be the perfect time to bring El Mala into your squad.

Mert Kömür, Augsburg (Midfielder, 6.15M, 10%)

If you’d rather back an Augsburg midfielder, Kömür is another excellent option. The 20-year-old has become an important player under Sandro Wagner, and playing up front, he scored and provided an assist in Die Fuggerstädter’s 3-1 win over Wolfsburg just before the international break.

Christoph Baumgartner, RB Leipzig (Midfielder, 8.24M, 5%)

Costing just 8.24m and playing as an attacking midfielder for one of the top sides, Baumgartner’s price seems unreasonably low. The Austrian international scored an impressive 280 points in his last game against Borussia Dortmund and now faces HSV at home.

Christian Kofane, Bayer Leverkusen (Striker, 2.22M, 2%)

With Patrik Schick still not fully fit, Kofane is expected to get at least one more start up front for Bayer Leverkusen. Priced at just 2.22m and having scored in his last two games for Die Werkself, he’s almost too good to pass up.

Fisnik Asllani, Hoffenheim (Striker, 11.04M, 17%)

After an impressive start to the season, Asllani was slightly disappointing against Köln last time, but that doesn’t mean you should give up on him. Coming off a match-winning goal for Kosovo, the sharp striker now faces St. Pauli and Heidenheim in his next two games.

Romulo, RB Leipzig (Striker, 10.91M, 3%)

Having made an instant impact for RB Leipzig, Romulo has averaged a solid 178 points per game. With a home fixture against HSV, he could prove to be an excellent differential this week.
