The 19-year-old winger spent two years developing within the City Football Academy but did not make a senior appearance for Pep Guardiola’s first team.

However, he was a regular at Under-21 level last season, scoring seven goals in 12 games and playing a key role in City’s Premier League 2 title win for the 2024/25 season.

City have received £5 million from the sale and have also secured an impressive 50% sell-on clause as part of the deal with the German club.
