FC Porto returned to work after a day off, with Francesco Farioli drafting in five B team players for first-team training.

According to O Jogo, goalkeeper Gonçalo Ribeiro, defender António Ribeiro, midfielder Eirik Granaas and forwards Duarte Cunha and Mame Niang trained with the senior squad.

The medical bulletin still lists eight players. Cláudio Ramos is on treatment and conditioned training, as is Alberto Costa. Alan Varela, Oskar Pietuszewski and André Silva are receiving treatment, while Vasco Sousa, André Miranda and Samu are on conditioned training.

Porto have begun preparations for Saturday’s trip to Rio Ave, the second round of the Primeira Liga, with kick-off at 20:30.

Another session is scheduled for tomorrow at Olival.
