After a day of rest, FC Porto’s main squad returned to CTFD Jorge Costa, and Francesco Farioli received encouraging news from the medical department.

Two days before the classic against Sporting, at Alvalade, Thiago Silva progressed to a conditioned training session, while Martim Fernandes has already trained integrated under a conditioned regime. These are positive signs from the two defenders ahead of the clash with the Lions, which is the first leg of the Portuguese Cup semi-finals. Cláudio Ramos, who missed the match against Arouca due to lower back pain, is also fit.
