Farioli kept Francisco Moura out at Viseu due to fever

FC Porto beat Académico de Viseu 3-0, but Farioli opted not to use Francisco Moura after Zaidu suffered a first-half injury.

According to O Jogo, the Italian coach said Moura had a fever and other symptoms the day before, missed training and then stopped after the warm-up.

With a change needed so early, Farioli explained he did not want to field a player who was still weakened.

He noted that Martim Fernandes had frequently operated on the left last season, which largely guided the decision.
