Farioli makes history, matches André Villas-Boas' achievement

Francesco Farioli became the second coach in FC Porto's history to win the first seven games of the season. With William Gomes' goal and the victory over Salzburg, the Italian coach matched the record of André Villas-Boas, the current president of the Dragons, who had achieved it in the 2010/11 season while leading the club's technical team.

In that season, FC Porto started with eleven consecutive wins and ended up drawing 1-1 with Vitória SC in the seventh match, played at D. Afonso Henriques. The team led by Francesco Farioli will host Arouca this Monday.
