Francesco Farioli, FC Porto’s coach, was asked this Friday by A BOLA to respond to the statements made by Rui Borges, Sporting’s manager, who said he was a free man — something that could suggest the Italian was not, merely repeating what he was told.

“For me, there isn’t much more to add, because I am also a free man, connected to people I am happy to be connected to. We are aligned on all the decisions we make, there are internal discussions, which is normal, but in terms of alignment and spirit, there are two freedoms moving in the same direction. It has been like this since day one and it will be like this in the future,” he stressed in the preview of the match against Alverca, which could secure the national championship.
