Farioli reveals who masterminds FC Porto’s corners: “No secrets here”

Francesco Farioli, FC Porto’s coach, praised the work of the technical staff in preparing set pieces and the kick-off. In the victory against Rio Ave (3-0), the Dragons scored two goals from corners.

“There are no special secrets, just hard work and dedication. Credit must go to those who are most responsible for this: Lucho, Lino, and Carlos [note: assistant coaches], who come up with proposals and ideas and spend a lot of time on this aspect, both offensively and defensively. It’s a big part of the game; you mentioned corners and the kick-off, but every time the ball is out of play, those are very important moments.”
