Pep Guardiola breaks historic Premier League record

Fastest manager ever — Guardiola rewrites Premier League history again
Pep Guardiola has once again reshaped Premier League history after Manchester City’s emphatic 3-0 victory over Crystal Palace.
City’s comfortable win at Selhurst Park marked their fourth consecutive Premier League victory lifting the champions to 34 point after 16 round.
City are just two point behind leaders Arsenal. But beyond the result, the night belonged to Guardiola.
With the Palace win, Guardiola became the fastest manager in Premier League history to record 150 victory in matches where his team scored three or more goals.
The 54 year old reached the milestone in just 358 league game shattering the long-standing record held by Sir Alex Ferguson who needed 522 match to achieve the same feat with Manchester United.
Arsene Wenger reached the mark after 524 game during his Arsenal tenure.
Guardiola is now only the third manager in Premier League history to reach 150 such high-margin victory.
The numbers highlight the scale of Guardiola’s impact:
No manager has reached the 150-win mark at anything close to Guardiola’s pace.
Since Guardiola’s arrival at the Etihad Stadium in the 2016 /17 season, Manchester City have become the league’s most devastating attacking force.
Across 358 Premier League match, City have:
Only Liverpool come remotely close over the same period, both in goals scored and points collected.
However they still lag behind City in all major attacking metrics.
The record arrives just weeks after Guardiola celebrated his 1,000th match as professional manager and months after becoming the quickest coach to reach 250 Premier League win.
