According to Coluna Do Fla, Fatal Model emailed Flamengo a R$ 100m, 12-month main shirt sponsorship offer, while the club denies any negotiations.

The report said the agency sought a response within 48 working hours and proposed equal instalments over the term. It added the club initially viewed the bid as low compared with Betano's R$ 260m commitment through 2028.

Flamengo issued a statement denying talks on the terms circulated, calling the claims false and noting legal steps over unauthorised images of the shirt with a non-partner brand. It stressed that official announcements are made only via the club's channels.

The email was sent on Sunday 27 September.

The club also said it will await the outcome of the provisional measure that bans betting companies in Brazil to determine whether Betano could return in future.
