Fatal Model makes R$100m-plus one-year bid to be Flamengo’s main sponsor | OneFootball

Fatal Model has lodged a bid of more than R$ 100 million to become Flamengo’s main shirt sponsor for one year.

According to Coluna Do Fla, the company sent its official proposal on Sunday 27 and is awaiting a response from Flamengo. The move aims to take advantage of the gap created by the provisional suspension of sports betting brands in Brazil.

Betano has been Flamengo’s main sponsor since 2025 on around R$ 200 million per year, but, under the suspension, its logo can no longer appear on the club’s shirt. Clubs across the country are seeking talks with the federal government this week to understand the next steps.

Fatal Model has also submitted a proposal to Corinthians to become their principal sponsor. The group already has a contract in place with Fatal Fans, part of Grupo Fatal Model, worth about R$ 20 million to the São Paulo club.

A further agreement would give Fatal Model another concurrent deal with Corinthians if approved. Meanwhile, Flamengo’s squad are on a weekend break and will return to training under Leonardo Jardim in the coming days.

Flamengo’s next match is on 08 October against Santos in the Brasileirão, with kick-off at 19:30 Brasília time at Vila Belmiro.
