WSG Tirol host us on Sunday 22 September (at 14:30 CEST live on Sky Sport Austria) in Matchday 7 of the ADMIRAL Bundesliga - and they can expect to face Red Bulls raring to land a win! Our Champions League opener obviously didn't go as intended. We have firmly switched our focus forward now to getting a taste of success again.
The stats are very positive, with ten of our last eleven clashes against Tirol being won. The side with our former goalkeeper Adam Stejskal are still finding their way into the season after long-serving head coach Thomas Silberberger – who took charge in 2013 with the club in the regional league - left the club over the summer.
Since then they have taken just one league win so far under new boss Philipp Semlic (at the start of August against Altach), with four wins to their name after five matches. WSG have also not been able to play a league fixture since the international break due to the weather, but played a friendly in midweek against FC Ingolstadt that was lost 1-2.
It remains to be seen how much our coach Pepijn Lijnders will rotate after our midweek Champions League assignment. We have several intensive weeks of packed fixtures ahead of us, with the next challenge awaiting on Wednesday already with the UNIQA ÖFB Cup – first of all we want to focus fully on WSG Tirol!
The clash will be shown on Sky Sport Austria, and we will keep you up-to-date on our live text updates. Everything worth knowing for our fans who want to be there to cheer us on has been summarised here:

We are facing opponents with a new coach who follow a clear playing style and have played with various different systems in the current season. They have lots of tempo, especially down the wings. It is more important for us to analyse our last match very carefully and see exactly what went wrong. It's clear to us that we have to do better and show a reaction - the league is such an important competition for us. We all want to show that we can keep on growing.

It has been a while since our last league match. That makes us even more pleased that we can get going again, even if it's our third away match in a row. Our clear aim is to take three points at WSG Tirol. They won't gift them to us, and we'll have to work hard to take them. We are going into the match as favourites, but that doesn't mean much, as we have to show on the pitch that we are better and determined to win.
