Corinthians said in a statement that Fazendinha has been cleared to host evening fixtures after a floodlight overhaul, with authorisation from the Federação Paulista de Futebol taking immediate effect.
The Corinthians ground had been barred since May 2025 because of lighting failures. The issue flared during a Campeonato Paulista Feminino match against Red Bull Bragantino, when 32 lamps were out and only 10 worked.
Heavy rain in São Paulo damaged the electrical infrastructure and affected parts of the power grid. The repair bill topped R$ 400 thousand.
With night use suspended, the women’s team sought alternative homes for predominantly evening kick-offs. This year they staged two Brasileirão fixtures, against Fluminense and América Mineiro, at Neo Química Arena, incurring combined losses of more than R$ 100 thousand. In 2025 they also used Pacaembu, Canindé, Primeiro de Maio and José Liberatti, as well as the Casa do Povo.
Work finished in March and sign-off followed inspection. The Brabas are set to face Red Bull Bragantino on Friday at 21:00 in the sixth round of the Brasileirão Feminino, and the CBF website already lists Fazendinha as the venue.
