Injured since the summer, Ter Stegen made his return to training just a few days ago. Hansi Flick has now confirmed the goalkeeper’s comeback to the Barça squad.

Due to a back injury, Marc-André ter Stegen had been sidelined for FC Barcelona since July. The German shot-stopper could make his much-anticipated return to the Blaugrana lineup for the upcoming Champions League clash against Eintracht Frankfurt. At least, that's what Hansi Flick revealed during his press conference.

"Yes, he could be on the squad list against Eintracht. But it’s clear that Joan Garcia is the number one. I always talk with Marc, but not with Julian Nagelsmann, he hasn’t contacted me," the German coach stated.
