A new challenge for Tom "Ritzy" Hülsmann: the Bayern reserves goalkeeper, 20, will spend the 2024/25 season on loan at Austrian second-tier club SKN St. Pölten. It's hoped that Hülsmann will make the step up to first-team football with the club from Lower Austria. His contract at Bayern runs until June 2026.

Jochen Sauer, youth development and Campus director: "Ritzy proved his talent in goal for our second team last season. He's also regularly trained with the first team. We're confident that he's now ready to take the next step in a professional league, and he has the best conditions for that at St. Pölten. We'll monitor his progress closely there and wish him all the best."

Hülsmann came to Munich from Eintracht Trier in 2017, when the Campus opened, and has progressed through all of Bayern's youth teams. The two-metre-tall shot-stopper has made 29 appearances in total for the reserves in the Bavaria Regionalliga, registering nine clean sheets. He signed a professional contract with the club last August.
