FC Bayern will play a friendly at Red Bull Salzburg as part of their preparation for the 2024/25 Rückrunde. The match against the 17-time Austrian champions will kick off on 6 January 2025 at 6 p.m. CET at the Red Bull Arena in Salzburg. Tickets for FC Bayern fans will go on sale from 10 a.m. CET on 24 November - detailed information will be available soon on our website.

FC Bayern and RB Salzburg already met in a friendly in January 2023.

Both clubs already played each other in a warm-up game during the winter break two years ago. Back then, they drew 4-4 in an entertaining encounter at the FC Bayern Campus. FCB and Salzburg have also met in the Champions League. The Reds won both clashes in the group stage of the 2020/21 campaign, and they then went on to beat the Austrians in the round of 16 of the competition the following season.
