FC Köln interested in Borussia Dortmund striker Steffen Tigges

According to Kicker, FC Köln are in negotiations with fellow Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund to sign 22-year-old striker Steffen Tigges on loan.

Köln head coach Steffen Baumgart has expressed his desire to sign a striker and a left-back before the transfer window closes, with Tigges providing competition for Sebastian Andersson (30) and injury prone Anthony Modeste (33).

Tigges played 49 minutes in the Bundesliga last season but was prolific for BVB II in the fourth tier, scoring 22 and creating 15 in 35 Regionalliga West games.
