Fodé Ballo-Touré and Urie-Michel Mboula were both forced to leave the pitch on Sunday, September 28 at the Stade Océane, during the clash between Le Havre and FC Metz. Ballo-Touré was ruled out before kick-off, while Mboula exited at half-time.

Senegalese defender Fodé Ballo-Touré was set to start the match against Le Havre, but a sudden stiff neck during warm-up sidelined him at the last minute. His replacement, Urie-Michel Mboula, only just back from a hamstring injury, had to come off at the break, apparently suffering a relapse. This forced Metz’s coaching staff to reshuffle their tactics. Head coach Stéphane Le Mignan switched to a back three, bringing on Georgian Giorgi Tsitaichvili as left wing-back. Originally on the bench, Tsitaichvili stepped in as the formation was adjusted mid-game.

Despite a solid defensive setup, Metz couldn’t break the deadlock and had to settle for a goalless draw. The result leaves Les Grenats in 18th place with just 2 points, while Le Havre sit 15th in the table.
