FC Porto: Auxerre stay up, Namaso buy clause triggered

In Ligue 1, Auxerre secured survival on the final matchday by winning 2-0 away to Lille, and Danny Namaso therefore becomes a permanent player for the French club.

The Cameroonian forward was on loan from FC Porto under an agreement that included the purchase of 60% of his economic rights for five million euros. The clause would be triggered automatically if Auxerre secured their place in the top flight and, in addition, Namaso played at least 60% of the available minutes during that run, which ultimately happened.
