FC Porto have confirmed the signing of Fátima Pinto for their women's team. The club said in a statement that the 30-year-old midfielder, capped 102 times by Portugal, has joined.
Pinto arrives after a season with Strasbourg in France, returning to Portugal following a long association with Sporting.
She represented Sporting from 2016/17 to 2020/21, then again in 2023/24 and 2024/25, with a season at Alavés in between. Earlier in her career she played for Santa Teresa in Spain before first moving to Alvalade.
Her honours list includes 10 domestic trophies, two of them a league and cup double with Atlético Ouriense early on, the rest with Sporting. In total she has four Taças de Portugal, three league titles and three Supertaças.
For the national team she featured at Euro 2017, Euro 2022 and Euro 2025, and at the 2023 World Cup. Her experience bolsters a Porto side preparing for a top-flight debut and, before that, the Supertaça, again against Benfica.
