This Saturday, FC Porto defeated Sporting 82-78, matching the lions on the Primeira Liga Basketball table with 24 points. Thus, both teams are now just one point behind the leader, Benfica.

The classic was tied at 21 points at the end of the first period. The dragons started better in the second period, leading by five points, but parity was restored before the break (42-42), with Ventura and Amarante each scoring 11 points.
