FC Porto fined over €26,000 after clássico, hard bread among incidents | OneFootball

According to O Jogo, Porto must pay more than €26,000 in fines after the round seven clássico against Benfica at the Dragão, which finished 3-1.

The largest sanction, €10,200, relates to objects thrown from the stands, including a piece of hard bread that struck Ricardo Sérgio Rocha Azevedo at 38 minutes. He was listed as the match delegate and was near the VAR cabin preparing a substitution.

At 48, 51 and 55 minutes, home fans in the central west stand immediately behind the visitors' bench threw plastic cups, plastic bottles and plastic poles used in the pre-match display towards that area. No one was hit and play was not interrupted.

At 60 minutes, supporters near the tunnel tossed a capped water bottle towards the pitch. It did not strike anyone and the game continued.

A further throw towards the visiting bench at 73 minutes was also without contact or stoppage.

Entry and possession of unauthorised items, notably pyrotechnics, brings a €6,375 penalty, with another €8,925 for their use at several points. There is also a €1,403 fine for insulting chants directed at Benfica.
