FC Porto lights up the Dragão for World Stroke Day

As early treatment is crucial for effectiveness in the case of a stroke, the initiative aimed to raise awareness of the main signs that someone might be experiencing this type of brain injury.

These signs include: facial paralysis with mouth deviation, loss or difficulty of speech, and loss of strength in an arm or a leg; there may also be a tingling sensation in a limb, severe headaches, or loss of vision on one side, according to the official website of the National Health System.
