FC Porto will return to Avenida dos Aliados to celebrate their 2025/26 title, featuring a new 140-metre walkway that, for the first time, starts at the City Hall steps to bring players closer to supporters.
According to O Jogo, plans are close to final and include extra visual elements, with giant screens plus suspended displays on the municipal building to improve sightlines.
The club’s roller hockey team, recently welcomed at City Hall by Pedro Duarte after winning the Champions League, will also join the party to share their European crown.
Festivities begin at 15:30 at the Dragão against Santa Clara. After the match and trophy handover, the squad will start their route through the city.
A standout leg will run by boat from Marina do Freixo to Ribeira, where fireworks by Ponte Luiz I and a drone show are planned.
Ribeira becomes a hub from 18:00, with a DJ and a giant screen broadcasting the trophy ceremony live.
The team then head to Aliados on an open-top bus adapted for the champions’ parade, alongside performances by Pedro Abrunhosa, Gavin James, Red Light Italy and Sons do Minho.
The climax is expected at Paços do Concelho, with a reception from mayor Pedro Duarte and the municipal executive before the traditional balcony lift. Traffic and parking will be restricted on Saturday and into early Sunday as Porto celebrate their 31st national title.
