FC Porto prepare for Benfica with seven on injury list and six B-team call-ups | OneFootball

After a day off in which Victor Froholdt and Oskar Pietuszewski trained at Olival in an effort to be ready for the clássico, FC Porto resumed work on Tuesday for Sunday’s home meeting with Benfica, 20:30 at Dragão.

According to O Jogo, seven players remain on the medical bulletin. João Costa underwent treatment, Zaidu had treatment and gym work, Victor Froholdt, Vasco Sousa, André Miranda and Oskar Pietuszewski followed conditioned programmes, and Samu took part in integrated conditioned training.

In the session, Farioli included six B-team players. The call-ups were goalkeepers Gonçalo Ribeiro and Antoni Nikolov, defender Luís Gomes, midfielders Tiago Silva and Eirik Granaas, and forward Cardoso Varela.

FC Porto’s build-up continues on Wednesday for the seventh round of the I Liga.

The training will be held at CTFD Jorge Costa.
