FC Porto registered their lowest summer spend since the financial fair play era. The Portuguese window closed on Friday, with Gabriel’s arrival two days earlier effectively ending their business.

According to O Jogo, Porto spent 37.4 million euros across the first team and B, a figure that could rise slightly depending on performance-related add-ons. The outlay includes 17 million to activate Kiwior’s option, with the defender having featured last season.

For the first team, André Silva, Gimenez, Fofana and Souza arrived on free transfers. Inbeom cost 4.5 million euros and Gabriel 11 million, taking the first-team spend to 32.5 million. Sales totalled 47.65 million euros. The largest component relates to Rodrigo Mora, a deal expected to reach 50 million euros, though only half is currently recognised. Deniz Gul brought in 10 million, Namaso 5 million and Eustáquio 4.5 million.

B team business saw investments in Eirik Granaas for 1.8 million euros, Niang for 1.6 million and João Afonso for 1.5 million. Outgoings included Alárcon for 2 million, Domingo Andrade for 1.5 million and a 150,000-euro loan fee for Gonçalo Sousa. Overall, the summer market left a positive balance of about 10.25 million euros.
