After a weekend off, FC Porto returned to training on Monday, with the B team drafted in due to absences for international duty and injuries.
The club said on its website that players involved with their national teams will rest until Thursday.
João Costa, Nehuén Pérez, Martim Fernandes, Zaidu, Seko Fofana, Vasco Sousa, Gabri Veiga and André Miranda were all on restricted training and absent from full group work under Francesco Farioli.
With seven wins from seven in the league, Porto are back in action on Saturday at 18:00 in Madeira against Marítimo in the eighth round.
They then travel to Seville on the 14th to face Betis in the second matchday of the Champions League.
