FC Porto-Sporting could be played on Monday if presidential run-off happens

FC Porto-Sporting could be moved to a Monday if Portugal’s presidential election goes to a run-off. According to O Jogo, a second round, if required, would be held on Sunday eight February, so the clássico could shift to Monday nine February.

The fixture is part of the 21st round of the I Liga.

The Comissão Permanente de Calendários is due to meet on Monday to discuss the calendar once it is known whether a run-off will be needed.

Any change would place the match the day after the vote.

The two clubs are expected to agree to play on nine February if the adjustment is required.
