FC Porto’s latest session brought progress for Jan Bednarek and call-ups for two B-team players ahead of facing Alverca.

According to O Jogo, the squad trained on Thursday for the opening round of the league.

Bednarek, injured in the Supertaça, has moved from treatment and gym work to a conditioned session, with Cláudio Ramos, Alberto Costa, Vasco Sousa, André Miranda and Samu on the same programme and listed on the medical bulletin.

Defender Luís Gomes and forward Tiago Andrade from the B team joined the session under head coach Francesco Farioli.

Porto’s meeting with Alverca is scheduled for Sunday at 18:00.
