FC Twente presents John van den Brom as new head coach

John van den Brom is the new manager of FC Twente, as per the Algemeen Dagblad. The coach reached an agreement with the club on Monday evening, signing a contract until the end of the season.

Speaking with club media, the 58-year-old manager beamed, “I’m really looking forward to this job. It gives me the opportunity to work for a fantastic club again, near the top of the Eredivisie. That’s where FC Twente belongs.”

He continued, “I’m proud to be here, and I’m really looking forward to it. It’s important to get acquainted with the players and staff quickly. We’re working hard to ensure we’re as well-prepared as possible for the match against Sparta Rotterdam on Friday.”

Van den Brom’s first act as boss was leading training on Tuesday morning.
