Daniel Maldini left AC Milan during the summer but joined a club with Rossoneri history – Monza. After impressing for his new club, there is interest in his services, and the most intriguing source of interest is Inter.

It has only been three months since the young Trequartista left Milan, but already there have been questions about a potential return, and with him being called up to represent the Azzurri, it is understandable why.

Maldini has started to become his own player and build his own career, and leaving the Diavolo was probably the only way to do that efficiently. Nevertheless, a return one day could be on the cards, and he didn’t rule it out when asked.

After his words in the press conference, FcInterNews revealed that the Nerazzurri are also keeping tabs on the young midfielder, and it would be a move that ‘defied the history of football’. He is seen as young and affordable, which the management appreciates heavily.

Of course, this would be a defining move for the youngster, and in some respects, if there was a way to create your own legacy it would be joining the direct rival of the club that his name is synonymous with.
