The Federal A season will start in the second week of March and keep the 2025 format, with the third tier’s market quickening. According to SuperDepor.com, Guillermo Brown and Germinal, Chubut Valley representatives, have yet to announce signings.
Brown have retained Emanuel Trípodi as head coach, a show of faith in last term’s work. The rebuild is major, with most of the previous first-choice lineup not continuing.
Matías Soria and Ezequiel Morales joined Atenas de Río Cuarto, Daniel Actis moved to Primera Nacional side Agropecuario de Carlos Casares, Matías Zubowicz returned to Ferro Carril Oeste, and Leonardo González with Alejandro Chiavetto will link up at Colegiales.
Franco Rodríguez joined Los Andes after 19 appearances, Marcos Giménez signed for Douglas Haig de Pergamino, and Matías Persia is playing the Regional Amateur in Mendoza. Top scorer Alan Silva, six in 25, is rehabbing a cruciate ligament rupture. About 90 percent of the XI from the closing games against Atlético Rafaela have new clubs.
Despite a poor start under Gabriel Nasta, Trípodi took over in the second round of phase one, lost his first three, then reached the promotion quarter-finals. His record was 23 matches, with 11 wins, 4 draws and 8 defeats.
Elsewhere, Olimpo have added 12, including Cristian Ibarra, and Villa Mitre under Diego Cochas confirmed 11 signings. Cipolletti kept “Chango” Cravero and goalkeeper Facundo Crespo, and added Marcos Pérez and Sebastián Jeldres. Santamarina named Duilio Botella, and Deportivo Rincón announced six signings with pre-season in the first week of February.
