Fee Rangers Set To Bank From Star’s Ibrox Exit Emerges | OneFootball

Rangers will be banking a fee of €5.5m from Turkish club Corum FK for midfielder Mohamed Diomande.

The Gers have spent money this summer on fresh faces and are not stopping, with another three to four wanted, while they are poised to complete the signing of Couhaib Driouech soon.

Driouech is to fly to Glasgow today to undergo his medical with Rangers, who will pay PSV Eindhoven a fee of €8m to sign him.

As Driouech comes in, Diomande is heading out and he recently arrived in Turkey to complete a move to Corum FK.

Now the fee that Rangers will be bringing in from selling the midfielder to the Turkish side has emerged, along with the length of contract he will sign.

Corum FK are forking out €5.5m to sign Diomande from Rangers, according to Turkish outlet Transfer Merkezi.

Diomande will put pen to paper to a four-year contract with Corum FK, ending his association with Rangers permanently.

Corum FK won promotion from the Turkish second tier last season and are determined to make a splash in the Super Lig this term.

They feel Diomande will add real quality to the engine room and the deal works for Rangers, who brought in more midfielders this summer.

Derek McInnes turned to a trusted face in the shape of Cammy Devlin, who appears to be a nailed on pick in the engine room at Ibrox at present.

Dan Neil also landed at Rangers following the end of his contract at Premier League side Sunderland.

There continue to be question marks over the future of Nicolas Raskin, who has been linked with several sides, but is still for now on the books at Ibrox.

Rangers signed Diomande, 24, from Danish club FC Nordsjaelland, initially on loan, in the 2024 January transfer window.

He clocked regular game time at Ibrox, but McInnes has decided he can move on.
