Felipe Anderson has made only six starts for Palmeiras in 2026 yet is enjoying his most productive season at the club.

According to Globo.com, he is aiming to build rhythm as Abel Ferreira beds in a tactical shift after the World Cup. He has four goals and five assists this year, already surpassing his 2024 and 2025 tallies.

Those 2026 numbers have come in 29 appearances, largely from the bench. His latest start was the 3-2 defeat to Fortaleza on Wednesday, when he impressed and set up Flaco López.

Minor fitness issues have interrupted his runs, often just as he begins to earn minutes. Even without a regular starting spot, he remains an important squad option.
