Felipe Sánchez has left Schalke 04 to join Liga MX side Santos Laguna on a season-long loan.
The club said in a statement that the agreement includes an option to make the move permanent, which will become active if he reaches a specified number of appearances during the 2026/27 campaign.

The 22-year-old Argentine, a left-footed defender, has been under contract with Schalke since summer 2024.
He made five appearances in the 2. Bundesliga during his debut season.
He then featured 25 times last campaign as the Royal Blues secured promotion back to the Bundesliga.
