West Brom target Felix Horn Myhre has offered a playful nod to the sunshine as speculation builds over his next move.

According to ExpressAndStar.com, Albion are interested in the SK Brann midfielder as head coach James Morrison seeks to bolster midfield options before the new Championship season. La Liga club Elche are also reportedly keen.

Asked to choose between Elche in Alicante and West Brom in the Black Country, the 27-year-old said he did not know, adding that Spain’s heat was tempting after this summer.

Capped seven times by Norway, Myhre is viewed as one of the Eliteserien’s standout midfielders and typically operates as a number eight. His Brann contract runs until December 2027, leaving around 18 months remaining.

Norwegian champions Bodo/Glimt and Danish side Brondby have also been linked. Brann are the former club of Albion striker Aune Heggebo, who joined for £4.7 million last summer.

Myhre narrowly missed out on Norway’s World Cup squad, which included former Baggies defender Torbjorn Heggem.
