Femi Azeez has completed a £15 million move to Brighton, capping an eight-year climb from the eighth tier to the Premier League.

Watford released Azeez at 14 after five years in their academy. He joined Northwood in 2018, debuting at 16, then moved to Wealdstone with a brief scoring loan at Hanwell Town.

In 2025-26 he produced 11 goals and eight assists as Millwall reached the playoffs, was named in the PFA Championship Team of the Season and received a first Nigeria call-up in May. Eligible through his father, he scored twice on debut in a 2-0 win over Zimbabwe.

A left-footed right winger, Azeez is direct, diligent and adept at creating space for overlapping full backs. He attempted 8.57 crosses per 90 minutes last season, though decision-making is an area to refine. Millwall fans are split on his readiness, yet his career has been about closing gaps.
