Rumors are swirling around the future of Nigerian international Ademola Lookman. The Atalanta Bergamo forward has been linked with a move to Galatasaray, but reports now suggest fierce rivals Fenerbahçe have also entered the race for his signature.

Turkish outlet A Spor claims that Fenerbahçe have made direct contact with Lookman’s representatives to understand the player’s salary expectations. In a significant move to lure the Nigerian striker, the Istanbul club is reported to have already tabled a formal offer.

The 28-year-old remains under contract with the Italian side until June 2027 and is currently valued at approximately €40 million by Transfermarkt. After finding himself on the fringes of the squad at the start of the season, Lookman has fought his way back into regular contention. So far this campaign, he has made 16 appearances across all competitions, contributing three goals and one assist.

At Atalanta, Lookman earns an annual salary of around €2.31 million. As the transfer speculation intensifies, it remains to be seen which Turkish giant, if either, will succeed in securing his services for the next chapter of his career.
