Fenerbahçe have issued a reassuring update on Kerem Aktürkoglu after he was taken off on a stretcher during the 4-2 match against Konyaspor.

The club said in a statement that, following a collision and a loss of consciousness, the Turkish forward was taken to hospital for precautionary checks.

Club president Aziz Yildirim, board members, the director of football and team-mates visited him in hospital, where he was undergoing checks and preventive measures. Sunday’s examinations were completed and no anomalies were detected on the tomography.

He will remain in hospital for a second night and will be allowed to leave on Monday.
