Fenerbahçe won 1-0 away at Sturm Graz to complete a 3-0 aggregate in the Champions League third qualifying round, guaranteeing a minimum UEFA payout and a play-off with Olympique Lyonnais for the 36-team league phase.
According to Turkish-Football.com, reaching the play-off secures €4.3 million even if they do not beat Lyon, after which they would enter the Europa League group stage.

If they eliminate Lyon, Fenerbahçe will advance to the Champions League league phase and receive a guaranteed base €18.62 million.
The first leg is on Tuesday, August 18 at 22:00 local time at Chobani Stadium, Istanbul.
The return is on Wednesday, August 26 at 22:00 local time at Groupama Stadium, Lyon.
