Fenerbahçe have lodged a firm offer worth more than 10 million euros for Nice defender Kojo Peprah Oppong, according to L'Équipe. The Istanbul club secured a place in the Champions League league phase after eliminating Lyon on Wednesday, 1-1 and 2-1.
The Ghana international, 22, played 43 matches for Nice last season. Still building fitness, he was not among the 20 selected to face Lorient last Saturday, a 0-0 draw, and it is uncertain whether he will play for Nice again before the window closes.
His profile is highly rated in Türkiye, with Trabzonspor and Fenerbahçe placing him near the top of their shortlists.
He is under contract at Nice until June 2029, and talks have begun with the club’s hierarchy. A sale would represent a sizeable gain, as he arrived from Norrköping for only 2.7 million euros last summer.
Nice are seeking liquidity and have considered parting with either Antoine Mendy or the young Ghanaian.
Elsewhere, Nice remain in advanced discussions with Al-Ittihad over Hicham Boudaoui, and Mohamed-Ali Cho completed a medical with Hull City on Wednesday, with his signing due on Thursday morning.
