Sportmediaset and Sportitalia report that Fenerbahce have tabled a new proposal worth €9m per season for Ademola Lookman, and that Atalanta are ready to listen with around €40m said to be enough.
Fenerbahce director of sport Devin Ozek is said to be in Italy for negotiations.
The Nigeria international spent the past month at the Africa Cup of Nations, helping his country finish third.
He made his first start of 2026 for Atalanta in last night’s 1-0 Champions League defeat to Union Saint-Gilloise, and his future is now being discussed.
Atalanta are ready to consider offers after picking up Giacomo Raspadori from Atletico Madrid, meaning he is no longer required.
With his contract running to June 2027, a loan with obligation to buy could total about €40m, split as €5m for six months then €35m.
Lookman had pushed to join Inter last summer, but the price then was at least €50m.
