Fermin Lopez returns as Spain include seven Barcelona players and two from Paris-SG | OneFootball

Fermin Lopez has been recalled by Spain after missing the World Cup with a right fifth metatarsal injury sustained in May. According to L'Équipe, seven Barcelona players are included, with Paris-SG pair Ferran Torres and Fabian Ruiz also named.

Lopez has impressed for Barcelona this season with four goals and two assists. It is Luis de la Fuente’s first squad since the World Cup final in the United States, which Spain won 1-0 after extra time against Argentina.

The squad features Ballon d’Or France Football candidates Lamine Yamal, Rodri and Pau Cubarsi, and also Pedri, Dani Olmo and Eric Garcia. Gavi is absent due to a one-match suspension.

Real Madrid have two representatives, full-back Marc Cucurella, signed shortly before the World Cup, and centre-back Dean Huijsen.
