The tournament runs from 11 June to 19 July. Spain head coach Luis de la Fuente is due to name his squad next Monday.

Lopez, 23, has seven caps and was coming off a strong season with Barcelona, playing 48 matches and recording 13 goals and 17 assists.

He was part of Spain’s European title in 2024, featuring for just 28 minutes. He later received call-ups in November 2025 and in March.
