Fernandes Gets A Perfect 10 | Manchester United Players Rated In Impressive Win Vs Ipswich Town

Manchester United welcomed Ipswich Town at Old Trafford earlier today as they hoped to secure all three points on the road in the Premier League. The Red Devils made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 29th minute when Leif David scored for the visitors. However, Bruno Fernandes equalised for the Mancunian club in the 40th minute as Michael Carrick’s men went into the half-time break with a 1-1 scoreline.
Man United managed to grab the lead in the 56th minute when Jacob Greaves scored an unfortunate own goal. Fernandes scored again from the penalty spot just five minutes later before completing his hat-trick in the 68th minute. Bryan Mbeumo added another goal in the 82nd minute, but Ipswich pulled a goal back in injury time when Chuba Akpom found the back of the net. The contest ended with Man United securing an impressive 5-2 win at the Theatre of Dreams.

Dalot managed to catch the eye at times on both halves.

He gave a good account of himself on the defensive end of the field and played a role in the lead-up to Greaves’ own goal.
CB: Lisandro Martinez – 5.5/10
Martinez was far from convincing when defending inside his half and made a costly error at the back.

LB: Luke Shaw – 7/10
He came back to defend when required and was tidy with his passing.
CM: Kobbie Mainoo – 7.5/10
Mainoo anchored the midfield well and made a few driving runs with the ball.
CM: Youri Tielemans – 8/10
He was a positive influence at both ends of the field.
RW: Bryan Mbeumo – 8.5/10
Mbeumo was a constant menace in the final third and managed to get his name on the scoresheet in the 82nd minute.
CAM: Bruno Fernandes – 10/10
Fernandes bagged a hat-trick today and even managed to secure an assist. He deserves to get the match ball.
LW: Marcus Rashford – 7.5/10
He caused a few headaches for his marker but failed to find the back of the net.
ST: Matheus Cunha – 8/10
Cunha caused some chaos in and around the Ipswich penalty area and ended the game with an assist to his name.
RB: Noussair Mazraoui – 6/10
He was solid at the back.
CB: Leny Yoro – 6/10
His impact on the game was minimal.
ST: Benjamin Sesko – 6/10
He made one good chance in the final third.
CM: Andrey Santos – 6/10
He struggled to influence the game.
