Bruno Fernandes was spotted scolding Amad Diallo for conceding possession far too easily in the first half.
The Ivorian livewire retained his place in the starting XI for Manchester United’s clash with Crystal Palace this afternoon, with only two points separating the sides ahead of kick-off.

We’re still awaiting a breakthrough inside the first half hour of action at Selhurst Park, which will only heighten both sets of fans’ nerves as the contest progresses.
United are looking to bounce back from their dismal 1-0 defeat to Everton at the earliest opportunity, while the Eagles, despite being in impressive league form, fell to a 2-1 midweek loss in the Europa Conference League to French outfit Strasbourg.

In the early stages, Samuel Luckhurst spotted Amad on the receiving end of an earful from his skipper.
“Fernandes went ballistic at Amad for losing the ball before Palace won the first corner. No #mufc teammates or staff appealed for a foul,” he said on X, formerly Twitter.
Fernandes will be mindful of just how clinical Palace can be when in their best form, so United must be doing their utmost not to grant any unnecessary chances that could dictate the game.
Jean-Philippe Mateta, for example, has already notched six goals in his first 12 appearances of the term.
Today’s encounter also sees Dean Henderson face off against his former club once again, having ended his 12-year association with the Reds in August 2023.
The deal was worth a reported £15 million plus £5 million in add-ons. In the same window, United shelled out £47.9m to sign Andre Onana from Inter Milan, who’s since been replaced by young Belgian Senne Lammens.
