Fernandez Gets 8, Santos With 7.5 | Chelsea Players Rated In Solid Win Vs Burnley

Chelsea faced off against Burnley at Turf Moor earlier today as they hoped to secure a positive result on the road in the Premier League. The Blues made a solid start to the game and took the lead in the 37th minute thanks to Pedro Neto’s header. Enzo Maresca’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
The West London club controlled the game well in the second 45 minutes. Enzo Fernandez ended up killing the game off in the 88th minute as Chelsea secured a solid 2-0 win away from home.
Sanchez made a couple of important saves at the back and secured a clean sheet today.
RB: Reece James – 6.5/10
He performed his defensive duties well in the first half and was replaced at half-time.
CB: Trevoh Chalobah – 7.5/10
Chalobah made a few crucial interceptions at the back and secured an easy clean sheet on the road.
CB: Tosin Adarabioyo – 7.5/10
He kept things solid on the defensive end of the field and did enough to limit the opposition from scoring.

LB: Marc Cucurella – 7/10
He came back to defend when needed and was lively going forward.
CM: Andrey Santos – 7.5/10
Santos anchored the midfield well and made one decent chance in the final third.
CM: Enzo Fernandez – 8/10
He was a positive influence at both ends of the pitch and got his deserved goal late in the game.
RW: Pedro Neto – 7.5/10
Neto was a constant menace in the final third and managed to score with a good header in the 37th minute.
CAM: Joao Pedro – 6.5/10
He caught the eye at times in the opponent’s half, but there was no goal for him this afternoon.
LW: Jamie Gittens – 7.5/10
Gittens caused a lot of headaches for his marker and ended the game with an assist to his name.
ST: Liam Delap – 6.5/10
He was a real handful for the Burnley centre-backs, but never looked like he would score.

Badiashile was solid at the back.

He performed his defensive responsibilities well after coming off the bench.
