Former Sheffield Wednesday man, Fernando Forestieri has reacted to Liam Palmer's notable recent individual achievement in a 1-1 draw with Watford.
Sheffield Wednesday shared the spoils with Watford in a 1-1 draw at Hillsborough on Tuesday evening.
The result means that the Owls ended a dismal run of 14 straight defeats in all competitions, and they'll be hoping that they can go from strength to strength from now until the end of the 2025/26 season.
Sheffield Wednesday have already had their relegation into League One confirmed this season, as they find themselves 44 points adrift of safety.
Their season has been one to forget, largely due to the actions of former owner, Dejphon Chansiri, whose mismanagement caused plenty of problems on the pitch, including an 18 point deduction for the club earlier this term.
That ultimately condemned them to playing their football in the third-tier next season, where they'll be targeting a swift return to the Championship.

There was a notable milestone reached for Sheffield Wednesday defender, Liam Palmer, in the draw with Watford, as the full-back made his 500th appearance for the Owls.
Speaking in a post on his official Instagram account, Palmer said: "A number I never in my wildest dreams imagined reaching when I first walked through the doors here as a young boy at 7 years old, and to be honest, I'm not even sure where to start when it comes to thanking everyone who has helped me along the way."
Plenty of Palmer's current and former teammates reacted to his Instagram post with some heartwarming responses, and there's one that might have stood out more than most for many of the Sheffield Wednesday's supporters.
Former Sheffield Wednesday man, Fernando Forestieri sent his reaction with emojis to Palmer's achievement with the Owls, which prompted the Scottish international to send his response to his former teammate.
Forestieri spent five years with Sheffield Wednesday between 2015 and 2020, before departing the club in favour of a return to Italian side, Udinese.
The 36-year-old scored 40 goals, and chipped in with 17 assists in his 134 appearances for Sheffield Wednesday, and now plays his football in Cyprus for AEL Limassol.

It remains to be seen as to whether Palmer has a future at Sheffield Wednesday ahead of the 2026/27 season, with the defender's current contract being set to expire in the summer of 2026.
He's been a hugely impressive servant to the club, and is closing in on being the club's record appearance holder, so it'll be interesting to see if he'll commit his future to the Owls.
In his recent Instagram post, he said: "With games still to go this season, I've got my fingers crossed that I might even be able to move a little higher up that all-time appearance list before the campaign comes to an end. Thanks again for your support this season and over the past 16 years. The good times will come again I'm sure."
Palmer was previously part of the Sheffield Wednesday squad that won promotion from League One in the 2022/23 season, and he'll be hoping that he can play a key role in their efforts next season, providing he's to agree a new deal with them.
Sheffield Wednesday are set to take on promotion-chasing Ipswich Town in their next league game, in what promises to be a tough test for Henrik Pederson's side, as they look to pick up their second league win of this year's campaign.
